Dear Mr. Felipe Hernandez,

I wanted to officially communicate... our appreciation and a special

'Thank You' to the Griffith Ford (www.griffithford.com) team for the

excellent and very prompt truck service. As well, and as importantly,

the exceptional superior customer service, that was delivered to us on

April 5th - 6th, 2010 in San Marcos, Texas.

 

In order to truly appreciate the level of customer focus and

satisfaction, that you and the Griffith Ford team accomplished, I

would like to explain our experience. Also, I am forwarding a copy of

this e-mail to the Ford Motor Company - Customer Relations Department,

City of San Marcos Mayor... Susan Narvaiz, San Marcos Record, & Texas

Tourism.

 

We are Canadians, who in 2010 have wintered in Texas since February.

We pull and live in a 35 foot 5th wheel trailer and that with a 2006

Ford F350. We travel accompanied by another couple, who have their own

5th wheel & truck. On April 5th, while traveling north on I35 from

San Antonio to Dallas, we encountered engine problem (an oil pressure

thing) I'm not too technical in these matters, so, I will not go into

the details concerning the problem, however, we were towed to Griffith

Ford in San Marcos, TX.

 

Once the service team diagnosed the problem, we were told, that parts

needed to be ordered and that it would take approximately 24 hours to

effect the repair.

 

The service manager (JC) offered to have us park our 5th wheel in

their rear parking lot with our colleagues. They provided water and

electricity to both trailers, which made our stay much more

comfortable. Also, in case we had an emergency and needed to exit

during the night, we were provided with the gate lock's combination.

As well, Felipe Hernandez provided his personal cellphone number. He

insisted, that during the evening or night, if there was a problem, I

should call him. (He lives 10 minutes away.)

 

During the process, I was regularly informed of developments and

re-assured that the situation was well being taken care of. We left on

April 6th and since then have successfully arrived in Dallas, TX.

 

This type of customer service will keep customers, such as myself,

coming back.
